2 Simple Ways To Prepare Butter Face Mask

Preparation of Butter Face Masks:

1. Butter And Mango Face Mask:

This moisturizing combination is especially effective in treating dry skin. Its emollient properties help hydrate your skin and help lock moisture in for longer. Mango and Butter are crammed with Vitamin A, which makes this facial great for sunburned, dry or damaged and sensitive skin.

Ingredients:

  • ½ medium mango, skinned and cut into cubes.
  • 1 tbsp butter (unsalted)/ Organic butter (optional)
  • ½ tsp chamomile oil
  • ½ tsp apricot oil
  • 1 egg yolk

Making The Butter Mango Face Mask:

  1. Begin by adding the ingredients including the butter, chamomile oil, egg yolk and apricot oil to a food processor.
  2. Blend the ingredients until you get a smooth paste.
  3. Wash and dry your face in the meantime.
  4. Once you have the paste ready, proceed to apply to your face.
  5. Using circular motions apply the paste evenly all over your face and your neck, taking care to avoid the delicate eye area.
  6. Leave the mask to stand and let it remain there for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Once you have let it set, take a damp warm washcloth and gently wipe your face.
  8. Once you have wiped the mask away, splash some cold water on your face.
  9. Pat dry using a towel.
  10. Use some moisturizer and toner to keep your skin soft.

2. Butter And Strawberry Face Mask:

The other butter based face mask; the Butter and Strawberry Face Mask is also great for the skin. The all-important alpha-hydroxy acids or AHAs in strawberry have strong anti-wrinkle and anti-aging properties, which help breakdown dead skin and inhibit their buildup. This mask is also great for unclogging pores and reducing acne.

This face mask contains egg yolk that is especially good for dry and scaly skin. It moisturizes the skin and reduces wrinkles. The cucumber in this face mask helps keep your skin soft and supple. Cucumber helps reduce the puffiness of face. The presence of lemon also helps reduce acne and clear blackheads for oily skin. These ingredients make the face mask good for most skin types; you can mix and match the best ones for you depending on your skin type.
Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (unsalted)/ Organic butter (optional)
  • 1 large mashed strawberry
  • 1 thick slice cucumber (sieved): Only for normal to dry skin
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice: Only for oily skin
  • 1 egg yolk: Only for very dry skin

Making Butter And Strawberry Face Mask:

  1. Add the desired ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Add the butter and strawberry to the bowl and mix well until it forms a thick paste.
  3. Proceed to apply the paste evenly all over your face.
  4. Once you have let it set, take a damp warm washcloth and gently wipe your face.
  5. Once you have wiped the mask away, splash some cold water on your face.
  6. Pat dry using a towel.
  7. Use some moisturizer and toner to keep your skin soft.
